Found out yesterday that our ikea bed shipped! We had to track it down and order it from Houston because they are discontinued everywhere else…I’m so excited!! It should be here in the next couple of days. Now I really can’t wait for the weekend:) I’ll post pics once we get it all set up, and also maybe some long overdue pics of our house!
After a lovely weekend it’s back to work for another week. January is flashing by before my eyes. Saturday and Sunday were filled with decorating our house, zumba class (my first time), work at Jons office, healthy meals, grocery shopping a free meal at chili’s, movies, lots of cuddling and a new project we are working on. Grading, grading, more grading. Will it ever end? 15 research papers down, 43 to go…
I have no life this week. I’m afraid I’m going to miss out on doing things for people because I’m so absorbed on school. I’m going to do my best not to let that happen, but with trying to fit in four hours of grading after work everyday, I’m in need of a serious plan. Help!

Today has been such a glorious day… so refreshing! Olive, Jon and I are just pulling into Duncan for Thanksgivingg festivities now. I have adored having down time with hubby on our little mini roadtrip. And speaking of mini, this is the first time she’s taken us any further than okc. I just love making memories and dreaming about the future together. I am so thankful tonight.

Crazy day Friday
Yesterday was a crazy day. It all began with not getting much sleep Wednesday or Thursday night. I feel like all I’ve done is work work work since school started, and I just really need a breather. Christmas break is only about 5 weeks away, and it can’t come soon enough!
Anyway, back to the crazy day. I ran late getting to work in the morning because I couldn’t seem to drag...

I usually try to be really positive, but right now all I can ask is why, oh why did I choose to work with teenagers for a living?
