Found out yesterday that our ikea bed shipped! We had to track it down and order it from Houston because they are discontinued everywhere else…I’m so excited!! It should be here in the next couple of days. Now I really can’t wait for the weekend:) I’ll post pics once we get it all set up, and also maybe some long overdue pics of our house!
After a lovely weekend it’s back to work for another week. January is flashing by before my eyes. Saturday and Sunday were filled with decorating our house, zumba class (my first time), work at Jons office, healthy meals, grocery shopping a free meal at chili’s, movies, lots of cuddling and a new project we are working on. I love getting to spend every moment with Jon…it just makes everything sweeter:)
Tonight Jon and I spent some time at Panera reminiscing over the past year. Then we talked over some fun goals for the coming year. I always have mixed feelings about the beginning of a New Year. I love the excitement of starting fresh, but also feel a bit nostalgic for the previous years. It’s kind of crazy that this is my second “year in review post.” I can’t believe I’ve been blogging that long. Either way…here it is…
Our Christmas gift to coworkers! Of course Jon made them while I graded incessantly. Sad. But I am so thankful to have a creative thoughtful, hot husband:)
I have no life this week. I’m afraid I’m going to miss out on doing things for people because I’m so absorbed on school. I’m going to do my best not to let that happen, but with trying to fit in four hours of grading after work everyday, I’m in need of a serious plan. Help!
I’ve got the best husband in the world. We went to Pier One, and he let us have an allowance to get some Christmas decor. I decided to focus on the table for now.
Met up with this little guy today. I hadn’t seen him since June. It totally my day! He is so darn cute and has gotten so big. I really couldn’t believe how much he’s grown and he’s such a ” little boy” now. Made me miss my nanny days:)
I am so happy and thankful for so many things - Jon, my family, our cozy, warm house, Friday night, Olive, healthy homemade enchiladas, rest, and our tiny Christmas tree:) yea
